Having therapy with me
I realise taking the step to start therapy may feel like a big decision.
On this page I discuss some of the practicalities, and I provide some information about my professional background.
I hope learning a bit about the process, and my professional training and expertise, makes you feel confident about seeking support.

Online sessions
I see clients online across the UK.
Sessions last for 50 minutes and take place via secure video (Zoom or Teams).
My fee is £85 per session, payable in advance via bank transfer.
Most clients choose to meet weekly for ongoing support, though I also offer fortnightly sessions at times.
Feeling comfortable
The most important thing when choosing a therapist is that you feel comfortable with them.
That’s why I offer a free 15-minute, no pressure phone consultation, if you would like to speak to me before booking a session.
However, if you would prefer to just make a start, we can do that too.
The first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, and for you to see if I feel like the right fit.
I will gather a bit of information about you, and find out more about what’s going on for you.
I will also answer any questions you might have.
We will take things gently, and at your pace. There is no pressure to commit to further sessions unless it feels right for you, and you want to go ahead.

Personal and professional
My work as a therapist is grounded in my extensive professional training, and my years of experience supporting women with IVF, and other issues affecting their emotional and psychological wellbeing.
But it is also deeply informed by my personal experience of living through IVF and infertility which included many cycles, and a lot of loss and heartache.
As a result, I have a depth of understanding that I bring to this work which helps women feel understood and validated.
